Sonic Colours: Wisps

I really need to get back to making my own characters, but doing the simple shapes of the Wisps was too much damned fun.

The Cube wisp looked a little lonely on its own. The alternative was to make each individually, and clog up my gallery with hundreds of these things.

To the uninitiated, these are the Wisps from Sonic Colours. These are scattered around in containers throughout each stage and give the player certain powers for a short time.

The Laser wisp (far right, lower) way by far the hardest to get right. I'm satisfied with it, but I still think it looks a little out.

Modelled in Blender, two-hour render in Yafaray, texturing and post-pro in The GIMP.
